The whole centre still reminds us of the fact that it was the Capital of the Kingdom of Piemont and later Capital of Italy. We see the landmarks, we walk the site, and we certainly do not forget the delicious Piemontese specialities.
Away from Ukraine, Paris' Light Festival of Insects Friday, December 9th
Olga is in Paris and she found out about a insect light festival, where she will take us! This colorful nighttime show is about to downsize you. The way she was told, this immersion into the universe of the minuscule makes us discover how an ecosystem works and better understand the importance of small species. Butterflies, spiders, and snails reveal the life of the small things, before we discover a pond filled with dragonflies, mosquitoes, and frogs.

Industrial and Social Museum - Print Works Sunday, December 11th Located in Sussex, UK, Amberley Museum i is dedicated to preserving the industrial heritage of the South East. It is located within historic chalk quarries. Chalk was extracted and processed for lime on site for more than 100 years, and the museum still houses a number of its original lime kilns. In addition, holdings and exhibitions at the museum cover a diversity of industrial and local heritage collections, including narrow gauge railways, local bus services, and a multitude of light and rural industrial subjects.

The Island of San Giorgio in Venice Thursday, December 15th San Giorgio Maggiore island lies just across from St. Mark's Square. It is one of Venice's icons. It was photographed, shot in films, and painted by Monet, Turner and others. The island's long history starts with the Romans. Then the first church was built in 829. The curren church in all its magnificence is the work of Andrea Palladio the great. Get ready for Snap Time as we go to the campo in front of the church. The view over the city is second to none. More snaps ahead as we see the interior of the church, the harbour. Our finale is the glasswork in "Le Stanze del Vetro" exhibition hall.
