Fondaco dei Tedeschi - a Venice Jewel Friday, October 7th To start your weekend next week, Giacomo is taking you to one more beautiful famous sight of Venice, the Fondaco dei Tedeschi. It was the headquarters and restricted living quarters of the city's German (Tedeschi) merchants. After several interventions, in the 1930s it was transformed into the main post office. It has been finally converted into a luxury department store. The tour will show the several layers of the building and end on the rooftop terrace with a breathtaking view!

The Enchanting Village of Eze on the French Riviera Friday, October 7th Olga is taking us to Eze, a medieval village perched high on a hill above the French Riviera in south-east Provence from where it has lovely views along the coast and out across the sea. We will walk its narrow streets, visit a unique exotic garden and more!

The medieval City of Caen, France Friday, October 7th Enjoy a charming city in France with us, the medieval city of Caen. The city is known for its historical buildings built during the reign of William the Conqueror, who was buried there, and for the Battle for Caen, heavy fighting that took place in and around Caen during the Battle of Normandy in 1944, destroying much of the city. Explore it with us!

Art Young African Artists Wednesday, October 5th Let’s join Karol to explore more of Uganda’s culture! Next Wednesday she is taking us to the Kal Okello Society, a art gallery that supports young African artists. KOCS has created an environment that allows youth to thrive through their creative arts to exhibit sorrow, trauma, happiness, society, culture and everything. Artists can also bring in their paintings for sale exhibitions. We will have the opportunity to see beautiful art pieces and meet their creators!

Coming Soon Travel A Very, Very Old House in Prague Sunday, October 9th Our host Max from Prague is back! Let’s give him a warm welcome on Sunday, he will take us to a 800 year old house in the city, The House of the Golden Melon. This special place used to be two medieval townhouses, then an aristocratic residence, a 19th century dancing school, a piano rental visited by the likes of Rachmaninoff, Grieg and Tchaikovsky, apartments, and so much more. We'll explore what lies beyond the facades of an average historical house in Prague, mention stories from the rich and long history of the building, and learn about the near-detective work historians sometimes conduct to find out about the past of houses, examining walls, floorplans and historical records.

Luxor City By Night, Egypt Sunday, October 9th Let’s go back to Egypt with Lesley. We will visit Luxor, but in a different way. Let’s get off the touristy parts of the city and explore it at night like a local! We will get to see the typical street food, architecture, people, market and more.

Yom Kippur & Sukkot Special, live from Israel Sunday, October 9th Our host Anna wants to show you on this tour one of the biggest holidays in Judaism, Yom Kippur, with a special guest, Chief Rebbe of Chabad Askelon, Rav Menachem Liberman. They will take us to Yeshiva, a religious school for boys to the school’s synagogue, to talk about some of the attributes of religious ceremonies. Let’s enjoy this unique opportunity. Half of the proceedings from the show will be donated to the Chabad community!

The island of Giudecca in Venice Monday, October 10th Giacomo is taking us to a very unique place, Giudecca, the closest island to Venice. This charming island is a great place to explore to avoid the crowded touristy areas of Venice. With old squares, churches and wonderful views of the sea and of St. Mark's Basin it is easy to see why many artists are also drawn to Giudecca. The area has a burgeoning reputation as a hub of artistic activity, let’s explore it!

The tombs are a work of art, its colors, materials used, built, everything stands out as it is very different from what we have now. Let Lesley show you and tell you all about it!

Edinburgh's Georgian New Town, Charlotte Square Tuesday, October 11th Let Sam take you to another sight of the charming Edinburgh. We will go to one of the best preserved Georgian squares of the city. Enjoy the beautiful architecture, rich history, lovely gardens and more!

Our Picks for the Next Days Thursday, October 6th The Road To Memnon: on this tour we will take a walk out in to the local areas of the West Bank here in Luxor. You will get to see first hand how close the history is to the local villages and you will get a close up look at how the locals go about their everyday lives. We will finish our tour with a look a visit to the incredible Collossi of Memnon these two break taking statues that dominant the area.

Friday, October 7th Neumagen Dhron: The Wine Village: Neumagen-Dhron, as the site of the discovery of the famous Roman wine ship (220 AD) and many other relief and inscription stones from the 2nd - 4th centuries, is considered the "oldest wine village in Germany". During this tour, we will discover some of those stones and will walk through this beautiful village on the banks of the Moselle.
