Set high on a hill in West Sussex, this great Castle has beautiful views and was founded at the end of the 11th Century. The castle also holds a fine collection of furniture, paintings, clocks, tapestries, armour and much, much more, including personal possessions of Mary, Queen of Scots. We will also wander in the grounds of the 14th century Fitzalan Chapel and stroll through the Collector Earl's gardens.

The city was designed from scratch in the late 1940's and 1950's with an idea for it to become the most perfect town for a Socialist society. Every little detail of the town was thought to make it a gold standard for the Stalinist regime. Join us to see how it’s going nowadays!
Dublin Castle Friday, September 30th Dublin Castle is the heart of historic Dublin and is where the city gets its name from the Black Pool - 'Dubh Linn' - which was on the site of the present Castle gardens. The Castle houses the magnificent State Apartments, the Chapel Royal, a 13th century Tower and some of its Medieval structures.
