Russians Against the War: Episode Three Friday, July 15th Let's talk about Mikhail Zygar. He was among the group of Russian journalists who managed to do an interview with the Ukrainian president Vladimir Zelensky after February, 24. He is a Russian journalist who has done TEDtalks. He is a writer and filmmaker whose best-selling books on Russian history, including most recent decades, have been translated on many world languages, and whose projects can tell a lot about Russia’s complicated history and the people who contributed to it. Up until March 2022, he was a founding editor-in-chief of Russian opposition news TV-channel Dozhd. Even after his project of a life time was shut down by Russian government, Zygar left the country and is keeping up with his great work interviewing such people like John Malkovich, Steven Pinker, Ralph Fiennes and many more. It’s all about the Russia-Ukraine situation, of course. Everything boils down to it.
