NEW Shows Travel Porta Nigra, Germany: the best preserved gate from the ancient world Friday, May 13th How about exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site with Juliane in Trier, Germany? When the Romans laid the foundation stone for the Porta Nigra in AD 170, they would never have imagined how successful it would be. After all, the city gate was just one of four in Trier at the time. Today, some 1850 years later, the ‘Black Gate’ is the best preserved Roman city gate north of the Alps, and the number one attraction when it comes to Roman structures in modern-day Germany. Spinning Kafka’s Head, Suicide in Progress, Church in a Wall Friday, May 13thOne of the unique things about Prague is that the art around the city is quite unusual and unique and this piece on Franz Kafka is no different. The rotating head has forty-two layers and built-in motors to make sure that the statue is constantly moving. Twice an hour the head of Franz stops for 15 minutes at the perfect spot before it starts going again for another 15 minutes. You won't have to wait long to see this piece of art in action! In this first show, Ievgen will teach us how to make Banosh, a flavorful and traditional Ukrainian dish, made of corn grits and served with a variety of toppings, like mushrooms, cracklings, chicken and seasoned with cheese and onions.


After the beginning of the war, Ievgen started to cook for the Ukrainian army and all the money raised during his show will go to his project.

Saturday, May 14th At age 69, Joe just spent two weeks at the Ukraine-Poland border, walking four miles to the Ukrainian village where the bus station was for refugees. Then he helped them carry their luggage to Poland and though the border to safety. (What were you doing in March?) Living life at it’s fullest is something that we always hear about. But is it really possible? Come and interact with someone who has dedicated his life to always going beyond his comfort zone.
