Ribeira - The Magical Riverfront of Porto

Premiere: Wednesday, October 6th

Come with us and visit Ribeira, a colorful Porto neighborhood along the river. Host Sara will show us everything from merchant homes from the 1300’s built on top of the old city wall, the old medieval docks and the colorful 17th century townhomes on main square. I will be on this show enjoying the amazing things to explore in this unique historic place by the river.

Premiere: Friday, October 8th

This one is going to be an adventure. Join our local Portuguese host, Sara, and let her take you along for a walk through the Porto settlement from top to bottom. In each step we have new things to discover. From an old fortress to a 2nd century Romanesque Cathedral and ancient strongholds. Sara will even show you an amazing viewpoint from where you can gaze at the entire city from above.

I simply love ancient history and architecture. Visiting old historic buildings and landmarks always fascinates me. There are so many interesting things to learn and discover in these places. If you agree, come with us and let our host, Anna, show you the inside and outside of one of the most beautiful Cathedrals in St. Petersburg, the over 330 feet high St. Isaac’s Cathedral. You will get to know everything about its history while admiring the masterpiece of its construction. Anna will even take you to the top to show you the amazing view.

London: Home of 007 and US Embassy

Premiere: Thursday, October 7th

MI6 (James Bond’s employer), the US embassy, and your host, Nathalie on a bike, a great combination for this show. Our host Nathalie will take you to Vauxhall, so you will see a part of the city that a lot of tourists miss, but it's awesome. The show includes The Royal Vauxhall Tavern; iconic gay bar where Freddie Mercury smuggled Lady Diana in. I've been to London a few times and I know that I still have a lot to see, so I'll join in on this show. Come with us and hop on Nathalie's bike, ride through the neighborhood while you enjoy beautiful views of the Thames, and explore the cool landmarks of Vauxhall.

Soup is a very important part of Hungarian gastronomy, so she wanted to give us a taste of it. I never had sweet soup before, so I'm definitely curious. Join us for some fun cooking time.

And that’s not all, Carmen will also show you the farm’s baby gators. Don’t let their cuteness fool you, they also have some sharp teeth.

L'Arc de Triomphe Wrapped by Night Sunday, October 3rd L'Arc de Triomphe has been all over the news, why? Because it has been wrapped in 270,000 square feet of fabric! And Patrick is taking you there to see it for yourself. Imagine a once in a lifetime chance to see an art installation on one of the most famous monuments of Paris (this will be its last day). And you're probably wondering why it is covered in fabric. Well, this is a posthumous art installation designed by the famous late artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Join us and let Patrick tell you more.
